Project Manager DARE-NL
We aim to bring cell and gene therapies faster to patients. Do you have a life sciences background, strong organizational skills and a passion for enabling research? Then we are looking for you as Project Manager for DARE-NL!
We offer a position as Project Manager to support the project management team of DARE-NL, a Dutch national platform for cancer-specific ATMP research. DARE-NL aims to ensure harmonized development, clinical testing, and sustainable patient access to Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs). It is a partly virtual infrastructure designed to accelerate the development of cell and gene therapies in the Netherlands, ultimately bringing these innovative treatments to patients more quickly.
All academic institutes in the Netherlands conducting research on ATMPs for cancer have joined forces within DARE-NL. Through close collaboration between fundamental and translational researchers, GMP experts, technicians, pharmacists, and clinicians, DARE-NL works toward building robust clinical dossiers that enable the efficient translation of novel therapies into clinical testing and implementation.
As Project Manager, you will coordinate a complex, transdisciplinary, multi-stakeholder project. Your responsibilities include managing contracts, documentation and archives, stakeholder relations, and administrative processes such as progress and financial monitoring and reporting. You will organize project meetings, workshops, and the annual evaluation and consortium meetings. Organization and communication play a big role in your job, as you will help connect diverse team members and stakeholders, and develop supporting tools such as templates and surveys. In addition, you will contribute to the development and execution of internal and external communication strategies and work closely with legal advisors to set up agreements.
You will collaborate intensively with the DARE-NL Program Manager, Project Leader, and Quality Officer.
You will be embedded in the ATMP Development Research Group of Dr. Trudy Straetemans, within the Department of Hematology at UMC Utrecht. Laboratory work is embedded in the Tumor Immunology section of the Center for Translational Immunology. In close collaboration with Prof. Dr. Jürgen Kuball and Dr. Zsolt Sebestyen, the research group focuses on the development and clinical testing of immune-based interventions against cancer, using immune cells and their receptors.
A unique research pipeline has been established that spans fundamental, translational, and clinical research. One of the key innovations originating from this group is a new generation of engineered immune cells known as TEGs (T cells Engineered to express a defined Gamma delta T cell receptor).
