The Anatomical Laboratory Surgical Technician / Pathology Assistant supports the daily operations of our advanced anatomy and surgical laboratories. The role involves preparing and dissecting anatomical specimens, assisting during surgical training sessions, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and ethical standards. This position is ideal for candidates with prior experience in surgical assistance, anatomical pathology, or cadaveric dissection, who are passionate about advancing hands-on medical education.
Education: Degree or diploma in Surgical Technology, Anatomical Pathology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline.
Experience: Demonstrated experience in surgical assistance, anatomical dissection, or pathology laboratory work is highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with surgical instrumentation, anatomical preparation, and laboratory management software.
Attention to Detail: Precision and accuracy in specimen handling, labeling, and documentation.
Communication: Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written). Dutch proficiency is an asset.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and safely handle specimens and lab materials.
Ethics & Confidentiality: Strong professional integrity and commitment to donor respect and confidentiality.
